The documents and decisions that govern WSLSA — our constitution, by-laws, member policies and committee minutes.
Governing documents
How WSLSA is run
WSLSA is an incorporated, student-run association. These documents set out how it is governed and what members and committee members can expect.
Primary instrument
The Constitution
The founding document of the Association. It sets out our objects, membership, the Executive Committee, general meetings and how the Association is administered.

By-Laws
The rules made under the Constitution that govern the day-to-day operation of the Association, its portfolios and its committees.

Code of Conduct
The standards of behaviour expected of members and committee members at WSLSA events and in the Association’s name, and how member information is handled.

Student-led, member-accountable
WSLSA is governed by an Executive Committee elected by members each year. The Executive is accountable to members through general meetings, the Constitution and the records it keeps.
Every committee member agrees to the Code of Conduct and acts in the interests of the student body, not any individual or firm.
