Meet the
Committee
The Western Sydney Law Students’ Association is led by a dedicated team of student leaders committed to representing, supporting, and advocating for the law student community.
Executive Committee
The Executive Committee oversees the strategic direction and daily operations of the WSLSA. In a milestone year marking the 30th anniversary of the WSU School of Law, they ensure effective governance, forge premier industry partnerships, and champion the student voice across all campuses.
Directors
Our Directors manage the core portfolios that bridge the gap between law school and the profession. From publishing The WSLSA Monthly and hosting career-defining Clerkship Nights, to driving unprecedented student engagement at social events and orientations, they deliver unparalleled opportunities for our members.
Social Justice Officers
Our Social Justice Officers ensure the WSLSA remains a fiercely inclusive and equitable association. By championing major community events—such as our annual charity Grand Iftar—and collaborating with professional networks like Diverse Women in Law, they advocate for marginalised voices and drive meaningful change.
Competitions Subcommittee
Driving our signature four-tier advocacy pipeline, the Competitions Subcommittee coordinates everything from foundational skills workshops with esteemed legal professionals to premier external representation. They proudly manage flagship events like the LawUno Contracts Law Moot and the Sir James Martin Intervarsity Moot.
Ordinary Officers
Ordinary Officers are the engine of the WSLSA, assisting across all portfolios to plan, coordinate, and deliver our largest initiatives. From executing seamless Orientation days to supporting major industry networking nights, these emerging leaders are vital to our daily success.
Working With and For Our Community
The 2026 WSLSA Committee is here to serve and empower the law student body at Western Sydney University. We are committed to delivering initiatives that are inclusive, engaging, and meaningful. Whether you’re looking to build professional skills, connect with peers, or make your mark in the legal field, we look forward to working with you this year.
